Employee Assistance Programs

It is estimated that, each year, one in five U.S. workers experience a major life crisis, an accident or major illness, the death of a loved one, financial problems, a family crisis, etc. Without help, these problems can become worse. First Financial Holdings recognizes that no one is exempt from life stressors and offers assistance through the Alternatives Employee Assistance Program (EAP). An EAP is a service which provides assistance to help troubled employees.

Unresolved personal and family problems may lead to a decline in work performance which can put the employee's job in jeopardy. The Alternatives EAP provides a confidential, professional resource for dealing with personal and family problems. The staff at Alternatives are experienced, licensed professionals who provide a wide range of services. The program is accessible and confidential.
